Demographics.
It's a very important word in South Africa, along with other words such as representative, B.E.E and transformation.
Pansy felt very "undemographic" as she sat waiting for the start of "Hats Off" at Monte Casino. Apart from about ten people in the audience, everyone else was over 60. Perhaps it was also because it was a Sunday matinée?
Well, the show is brilliant. From the cellphone announcement preceding the show, to the South-Africanised version of the hippo song "Mud, mud, glorious mud" at the end, the show is full of laughs, and is thoroughly enjoyable for people of all demographics.
